‘O’ Gauge Service Cradle





This beautifully crafted ‘O’ Gauge Service Cradle is a ‘must have’ piece of kit for all ‘O’ Gauge connoisseurs. Its unique design allows each model to be supported in the best way possible.

There are two versions of the ‘O’ Gauge Service Cradle available. One is constructed of solid hardwood and the other is made from a good quality Birch Plywood. Both share the following features:

• Finished in a chemical and water resistant clear lacquer.
• Both upright elements are foam lined to protect any side detailing of the model.
• The front upright/flap is hinged so that it can be lowered allowing easy access and location of the model. When raised the flap is secured by two Velcro straps at the sides. These straps are adjustable in order to control the clamping pressure on the model.
• Along the base of the ‘trough’ there are five loose foam blocks that can be separated or removed to create open spaces to accommodate chimneys, cabs pantographic apparatus and other details.
• Mounted on non-slip rubber feet to aid stability.
• Length 500mm. Width 47-57mm. Height (from top of foam base layer to top edge of uprights 55mm. (this can be altered by using various custom made packing blocks).

’O’ Gauge Model Rail Display Case



An elegant display case designed for table or shelf mounting. 

Features include:

• Veneered Mdf ends fitted with internal mirrors as standard.
• Veneered Mdf base with Hardwood lippings for greater stability.
• Optional glass or mirror back.
• Available in Mahogany or Maple.
• All wooden parts are finished in a durable clear lacquer.
• The lift off lid locates into grooves in the base forming a dust proof seal.

Dimensions
The cabinet is available in two lengths as follows:
Large cabinet - Length 650mm. Width 125mm. Height 150mm.
Small cabinet - Length 450mm. Width 125mm. Height 150mm.

’O’ Gauge Model Rail Stock Case (6 & 8 Shelf)

  

This unique case combines the practical requirements for storing rolling stock securely, with the advantage of being able to display them safely.

Only quality materials and fittings are used:

• Durable multi laminate plywood is used for the case and shelves.
• Hinges have built in stays that keep them from opening too wide.
• Handles are bolted in position.
• Catches are sprung loaded to hold them in the closed position.
• All parts are finished in a clear water resistant lacquer.

Features include:

• Six and Eight shelf units available.
• Removable shelves with non-slip feet and wheel location slots.
• Velcro straps enable a safe and easy method of holding a variety of different types of rolling stock.
• Dual Handles give greater security when carrying.
• When open, the case is held firmly by the stayed hinges and the rubber feet fixed to the base of the case.

Please note it is not recommended that locomotives be housed in this product.

Shelf sizes are 550mm  (21 5/8”) long 70mm wide with 105mm between shelves.

A robust, secure and practical hard wood case design specifically for the transport of Gauge ‘O’ locomotives.

Features include:

• Robust construction with all parts jointed and glued together.
• Durable materials employed. Hard wood sides with matching ply wood top and base.
• The use of  ‘lift off’ hinges and an angled split line allows ease of access.
• Three toggle catches provide secure locking of lid (except for 250 and 310 sizes which have two catches  ).
• Carry Handle securely bolted to case.
• Base ply is rebated for wheel location.
• Foam packing blocks supplied for customer modification.
