Office and Workshop History
PARKWOODwas formed in 1965 primarily to provide precision made casework for the gauge industry. This product range has been extended to include electronic and optical measuring equipment. Diversification has taken place with the manufacture of furniture components and specialised wooden items along with moulding of flexible polyurethane for a variety of applications.
Environment
Environmental issues are of great concern to us even though it is a complex and constantly challenging debate. Advice is sought from many organisations to assist us in conducting a responsible purchasing policy. In addition, we also seek assurances from our suppliers that their timber originates from legal and sustainable operations and every effort will continue to be made to ensure we only use these.
